Egg Baby: Directions to Create an Egg Baby

Link above includes ideas for Egg babies!

  1. Wash & dry an egg. Puncture a small hole at the small end with a big needle or push pin.
  2. Puncture a bigger hole at the large end. Stick a bamboo skewer in the egg to puncture the egg yolk and loosen the egg white.
  3. Place egg over a bowl and blow through the small hole until all of the inside is removed.  Rinse the shell with cold water and blow out the water from inside the shell. Dry completely.
  4. Using white tissue paper squares and glue, decoupage the outside of the egg. This step strengthens the shell, helps with accidental drops, and makes it easier to add things to egg.
  5. Using wiggly eyes, yarn, feathers, sequins, fabric, ribbon, duct tape and whatever other crafty supplies you have on hand, create your egg into an egg baby or creature.
  6. Create a habitat for your egg baby to live in.
